I didn't realize just how cute seeing Gaby in big boy underwear would be!

Making a comeback!

Whew! The Booths have had a tough couple of weeks between ice storms, power outages and the flu! Gabe is really shining today though. He did his school work for 45 minutes straight this morning and has used the potty by himself all day (so far) and is wearing big boy underwear. He's so excited about it, he wants to tell everyone. What a big boy he's getting to be!!

The Third Child

This is "Hot Waddie". Gabe says he is his friend. He especially loves to take naps with him, and so does Ayla. I love Hot Waddie too because for some reason he gets the kids very very sleeepy. I think it is his warm personality.

Winter Blahs

Gabe has been cooped up inside too much. He has been watching Jungle Book a lot lately, probably longing for a romp in green vegetation.

More baking and photography

He spent MLK day baking with his bestest pal Sophie. They were making shortbread cookies ( a very old family recipe ) It started out fun and lighthearted and then, not having a nap all day, proceeded to turn ugly, with Gabe dictating what should be done and how- especially with regards to the flour. Take a look:

Chef Gabe

Gabe has been cookin away the past couple of weeks. He has made: Red Cabbage and parsley salad, apple crisp, artichoke romaine salad, and rice crispies treats. He is really really into it!
