Gabe Survives the Hurrinado

Gabe took the storm a little harder than Ayla. He talked about it alot to everyone who would listen, so that helped a bunch. One of the funner things about the clean-up after the storm was Gabe got to see a lot of heavy machinery and cool things like chainsaws and axes and linemen with hard hats! He really wanted to drive one of the big trucks! He was out most of one day with his little red wheelbarrow filling it up with leaves and twigs and doing his part to help out. He did not deal with it being so dark at night without power!

Irish Festival- Playing catch up!

Highland games, saucy singing wenches, wooden swords and miniature Irish white houses!
This was our first visit to the Irish Music and dance festival (late April)- it seemed like every previous year it was cold and raining. It was a lot more fun than we expected!
