Robinson the Robot
So yesterday on Curious George, George made a robot out of a cardboard box and instead of school today, we decided to make one for Gabe. What do you do when it rains 8 inches in 2 days? Get Crafty! Notice the protective eyewear he utilized.... it can be dangerous working with hazardous robot materials. Working to the music of Blues Traveller and Wee Hairy Beasties, he taped, marked and delegated for over an hour before testing it out. I asked him what his name was and he said 'Robinson'. Of course... how could I be so dense?

Never Again
So, we decided we should cut Gabe's hair last night because we have Easter and Jill's wedding coming up. To make a short story shorter, Marcus cut his ear with the scissors (ouch) and after we finally got it to stop bleeding, he decided he needed to finish cutting and started on the other side... he was so flustered and nervous cutting around the other ear... well see for yourself. Anyway, I am vowing to take him to a professional from now on. Marcus and I feel like ****heads today.

Eggs and Gonny
Gabe has been singing ring of fire every day! He gets his guitar, askes me to put on Gonny Cash and makes me repeat 'Ring of Fire' over and over again while he sings along. He's practicing for Nashville Star. He's also very adept at dyeing eggs... left to his own devices he actually made one purple (not a color included in the kit) by first putting the egg in the pink and then the blue and said 'Look Mom, Purple!'.

A hint of Spring
Saturday was a big day for Gabe. The weather was nice and temp was around 65. First, Gabe went for a walk with all of us and had a blast running around. Then Memaw and Pa picked us up and we drove down to Golconda, where we checked on the property and took Great Grandma out to dinner at a new restaurant. Gabe even got to play with Emma! He was glad about that. Other than Ayla crying on the way home... he had a wonderful day! I took about 150 pictures of him and it is taking a while to go through them. The pictures in this post are in opposite order.
