Christmas update

Gabe was up at 5:30 am on christmas day in order to drive to Flora and surprise everyone there! He had so much fun with his cousin Olivia!

The Dari Barr

Monday, Gabe escorted Great Grandma Collier to the Dari Barr for dinner. You may know, Gabe loves to cook and one of his favorite movies is Ratatoullie. When I read him the menu, he ordered ham and beans. He was less than thrilled when they arrived and began experimenting with different toppings, finally deciding not to eat them until he had mustard and ketchup on top. On a side note, Grandma divulged her secret cream pies recipe to me at the table and once I figure out the correct measurements for the crust, you know I'll be baking some.

Snow Day

As you may know, Marcus and I decided on attatchment parenting and having a 'family bed' Well, we would also like to watch some shows on tv that don't involve learning alphabets and numbers. We decided it is time for Gabe to start going to sleep on his own. Las night he actually did it. Notice the tight hold he has on owe lei-lei (old lady) and he is on Mommy's side of the bed :)

While we were at the home show Jill hosted for us, Gabe went into Sophie's room and came out with her Barbie guitar. Sophie ran into the kitchen and said "come here guys- you've got to see this!" Excuse the artsy photography- I had to turn the camera to ensure a candid shot and Marcus had to edit the video. Comments can be posted below!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year, Gaby went to Memaw's and ate. Then he went to Flora for the weekend and spent some quality time with cousin Olivia , aunt Tina, Uncle Alex and PaPaw Pat.

Gabe at Rest

Gabe has taken to enjoying restful quiet times. While bathing he likes to lay back in the water an close his eyes. He usually says in a soft voice "that feels good". He also likes to watch movies in bed. This probably isn't very healthy for him but it is true. He likes to find comfort next to warm bodies, be it mommy's, daddy's even Ayla will do when the above mentioned are not available.

A day in the park

On the 17th we went to Giant City Park to feed the koi. We couldn't find any but we fed them anyway. Then Gabe drove us to one of the playgrounds and we ate cheese and crackers and played on the play equipment.

Halloween!

Gabe was Harry Potter- or as he says Hally Paller. He was sooo cute. He even had a rubber scar on his forehead! Last year, he was Nacho Libre. Harry Potter and Nacho Libre are two of Gaby's favorite movies. He helped pass out candy and told everyone who came to the door- Don't be scared!!

Gabe says and does things every day that I think are so adorable. I don't always have time to call everyone and gush over him though. Hopefully, I can keep up with this blog and you can get a Gaby fix anytime you want!
